There are beautiful trips to Sněžka or across Zlaté návrší to Medvědín - in summer and winter (cross-country skis or snowshoes can be rented here). In winter, there is a ski slope and a small lift for teaching children nearby.
GoogleA great place, we really liked it there. Excellent food, perhaps the friendliest service I have ever experienced, and the option of a hot bath outside. Only the access road is in terrible condition; a friend in a Passat station wagon even scraped his chassis, so drive carefully :)

Novopacká bouda is one of the oldest mountain huts in the Krkonoše Mountains. It was built in 1876 as a shelter for travelers and still retains its original character.
From a wooden shelter for pilgrims to a popular mountain lodge. Our history is connected with the journeys of mountaineers, skiers and generations of people who found refuge here.
On the site of today's Moravská bouda stood only a simple shelter for hay, which served farmers and herdsmen as protection from bad weather.
The Erlebach family built a wooden shed 'Daftebude', which provided accommodation and refreshments to pilgrims and tourists.
The building served the German army and after the war it was transferred to the recreational use of the organization Roh, at the same time renamed to the Moravská bouda.
The Moravská bouda was one of the shooting sites for the well -known comedy Snowdrops and Mackers, some interior scenes were created here.
Bouda underwent a total reconstruction, the original building was preserved after the historical heritage.
Today, the Moravská bouda is a family -led cottage, where it has been intertwined for more than 140 years of history with modern comfort and cordial hospitality.
